Michael Woods will be headlining the Box on Saturday 18th February at Ministry of Sound for Saturday Sessions PresentsMinistry of Sound’s very own resident will be finding time out of his jam packed tour schedule to come down the club and put on an unparalleled spectacle of musical amazement. When Michael is brought up three words come to mind: Ability, creativity and accomplishment. He is a very talented individual whose rise to fame can only be described as meteoric. With this being the case it is unsurprising that he has fast become a house hold name on the local scene and abroad. He has also managed to do what very few Dj’s get to do during their career which is break through to the mainstream, working with artists such as Adele and when he’s not too busy producing remixes for the likes of Chris Lake and Deadmau5 he can be found in any number of clubs around the world playing his signature style of progressive big room tech house. Joining him in the Box will be promising young Dutch producer Nicky Romero who’s musical journey started at the age of six with a snare drum. Young Nicky earned the notice of world class DJ David Guetta with his interpretation of Guetta’s track ‘When Love Takes Over’ and with a string of successful releases since, Nicky is defiantly one to keep an eye on. All the way from the states, Morgan Page will be rounding off the lot. Morgan, a talented producer has attracted the support of a few top Dj’s, to mention a few, Sasha, Roger Sanchez and Danny Tenaglia and if that wasn’t enough one of his remixes was nominated for a Grammy in 2011.The 103 will see will see Adrian Lux play alongside Blende and Kamuki who will be putting out a fine array of electronic beats ranging anywhere from tech-house to disco all the way through to funky house. In this room, on this night you don’t know what might be playing out, but whatever it is you can be certain it will put a groove in your step. Kamuki, an unlikely duo, made up established D n B producer Cameron Edwards and Smirnoff exchange resident Luke Ashworth having been striving toward the House scene elite, however the pair have maintained that they don’t want to compartmentalise there sound, hardly a surprise with such varied roots.Saturday 18th February23:00-07:00Saturday SessionsBox: Michael WoodsNicky RomeroMorgan Page103: Adrian Lux BlendeKamukiLoft: Tempted2 Good SoulsNick ChristoforouWade KadirJordan RutterDougie CMogseyBaby Box: Tempo Eterno Audio Society ( Kane Brown & James Odono)Matt TurnerLee YeomansDave Elsey & Tom HammerMia MonroeMartyn Davies_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _From £15 Advance // £10 from 4am // Students £10Tickets available HERE
