Friday 6th see’s a techno showcase commence as four esteemed headline artists battle it out over our award winning sound system in The Box! Record labels Spinnin', Bedrock, Toolroom and Intec hold a showcase of music and talent holding the main room at our world famous club. But who will reign supreme over The Gallery controls? Let's meet the stars...
Koen Groeneveld’s new track ‘Jetblast,’ recently rocketed to top spot of the ‘Track It Down’ techno chart. It even saw its own release on Koen’s ‘Abzolut’ imprint, a sub-label of the famous ‘Spinnin’ Records’ umbrella. Haunting riffs and robust synths, perfectly complement this robotic and catchy melody.
After playing a stellar set at the recent ‘Bedrock15’ celebrations for John Digweed’s label, The Japanese Popstars tough yet accessible sound has received widespread acclaim. They describe their sound as: “trying to work a groove that could work as well on a dancefloor playing to 500 people, as it would at a festival playing to 5000” and with Ministry of Sound’s capacity sitting comfortably in between the two figures, this will be the perfect platform.
