The world conquering Deadmau5 will be returning to Ministry of Sound after a long leave of absence and he's bringing knife party along for the ride.

Deadmau5 last played for us almost a decade ago, waaaaaaaay back to New Year's Eve 2009 at the Millennium Dome, where he was lowered in from the ceiling! Since then he's become one of the biggest names on the international DJ circuit, regularly headlining some of the biggest festivals in the world. He's wowed the fans with his patented cube visuals and even found time to create a techno alias in the form of Testpilot.

When it comes to Deadmau5 you need to expect the unexpected, but as a known tech geek, he'll be utilizing our unique Dolby Atmos system to its full extent.

Joining Joel in The Box are Australian duo, Knife Party. Made up of Rob Swire and Gareth MCGrillen, two members of the mighty Pendulum, you can expect massive selections and even bigger drops from these big beat maestros. Rob collaborated with Deadmau5 on perhaps his most famous tune, "Ghosts 'N Stuff", so who knows - maybe a live rendition of this dancefloor classic is on the cards?
