We've pulled together another guide to our favourite live streams happening this weekend. With news that Facebook is to ban live-streamed music performances from 1st October, we need to enjoy what's on offer while we still can.
This week sees two major fundraisers from Rave the Vote and Beatport ReConnect, plus Montreal's Mutek festival and a one-off live performance from Bicep. Have a great weekend!
Rave The Vote
The voter registration fundraiser is back for a third outing and this time they have the legendary Carl Craig performing. The Detroit don will be joined by AceMoMa, Aluna, DJ Holographic, DJ Minx, DJ Pierre, Martyn Bootyspoon, Yaeji and more.
Bicep are broadcasting a live performance that promises to be chock full of new and unreleased music. There will be no watch back or archiving of the show, so you have to tune in tonight to see it, once it's gone it's gone.
The broadcast kicks off at 9:30 pm BST.
Tuesday - Sunday
Montreal's Mutek festival is back for a 21st putting in 2020. While elements of the festival will continue on the ground in Montreal, they have massively expanded their online offering due to COVID-19. Kicking off on Tuesday and running right through to Sunday, Mutek have programmed a typically impressive, cutting edge lineup.
Electronic Labor Day x Beatport ReConnect Present 'For Beirut'.
One of the biggest fundraisers of 2020, Beatport ReConnect is with another mammoth lineup, this time raising money for victims of the Beirut explosion. Hosted by Carl Cox and Danny Howard, the 12-hour stream will showcase sets from Amelie Lens, Blond:ish, David Morales, Kolsch, Roger Sanchez, Skream and many, many more.
