This weekend sees us hit our 9th weekend in lockdown and our third bank holiday with no clubs to go to. It's not all bad news, however, as Memorial Day weekend in America has produced some truly amazing options for your live-streamed disco needs.

This weekend also sees the final episode of Defected's Virtual Festival, it's been an amazing journey and we thank the whole Defected team for keeping us dancing over the past 9 weeks!

Finally, we've been working on something behind the scenes for a little while now - lookout for an announcement on Monday.

From the whole Ministry of Sound team, have a fantastic bank holiday.

Defected Virtual Festival Closing

All good things must come to an end and unfortunately, this Friday will be the final virtual festival from our friends at Defected.

Kicking off nine weeks ago in our very own DJ booth, Defected has welcomed a truly amazing array of DJs from around the world into our living rooms. The closing party features a predictably monstrous lineup including Carl Cox, MK, Nic Fanciulli, Idris Elba and Boys Noize.

Tune in tomorrow from 2PM BST for what's sure to be an emotional sendoff.

Friday - Sunday

Lightning In A Bottle

California's Memorial Day weekender, Lighting In a Bottle is the first of three stateside celebrations this weekend.

The stacked lineup includes Four Tet, Kaytranada, Tycho, Eli & Fur and Justin Jay. Long renowned for its stage design, the online festival will offer digital versions of beloved areas like the Woogie and Lightning Stages.

Tune in from 5PM PST.

Saturday - Monday

Movement At Home

Detroit's iconic techno festival, Movement, is also taking things online. They've lined up a heavy crew of techno donnies including ANNA, Carl Craig, Claude VonStroke, Ellen Allien, Justin Martin, Kevin Saunderson, Loco Die, Seth Troxler and Waajeed.

Rinse: Lockdown Live presents Backto95

Rinse FM keep the lockdown vibes flowing this Saturday with a second team up with our friends at Backto95.

Garage greats such as Matt Jam Lamont, Norris Da Boss Windross and MC Creed will be broadcasting from their yards.

Tune in from 5PM BST

Governor's Ball

The annual music festival held on Randall's Island in New York City has announced a live stream in lieu of their regular event.

The online festival features an impressive lineup of atmospheric acts including Rüfüs Du Sol, Bob Moses, Sofi Tucker and - somewhat bizarrely - Snoop Dogg under his DJ Snoopadelic moniker.

"The Sun Still Sets" will air on Sunday at 6:30PM EST.
