The past six months have been an incredibly unsettling time for all of us, the world in 2020 is unrecognizable from the world in 2019. Every industry has been impacted in some way by COVID-19, but one of the most affected has got to be the electronic music industry.

The industry is built on community, large gatherings of people to enjoy music together. The DJs we love flew all across the globe to bring that experience to music fans in clubs and at festivals.

But in March of this year, as the world began to lockdown, events were cancelled, planes grounded, and DJs required to stay at home, just like the rest of us. Sixth months later and a lot has changed, but even more has stayed the same.

For their new short-film, Pioneer DJ, take a look at how the last six months has affected the electronic music industry and has sought contributions from an expert panel including Honey Dijon, Eats Everything, Blond:ish and Luciano, along with representatives of IMS, DJ Mag and more.

It's essential viewing for any dance fan. Enjoy!
