One of the most famous people on the planet, Idris Elba, will be headlining Ministry of Sound this February. A globally recognised film and television star, Idris has also built an impressive career in the music industry. An accomplished DJ, he's played at festivals and clubs around the world including Glastonbury, Eastern Electrics, Snowbombing, Pikes and Ibiza Rocks.

Far from your average actor turned DJ, Idris was a working DJ long before he ever found fame in Hollywood. Along with being a respected selector in the scene, he's also turned his hand to production, releasing his first EP way back in 2009. His latest track is reportedly a collaboration with grime Godfather, Wiley, Stefflon Don, and Sean Paul.

To help celebrate his debut headline set, we've assembled a heavy lineup featuring some of our favourite selectors. Joining Idris in The Box will be Bristolian bass boss, Redlight. Redlight had a massive 2018, dropping his well-received third studio album, ACTIVE.

Club favourites The Menedez Brothers and Just Geo will be rounding out the lineup in The Box. Just Geo will be celebrating his Birthday in the club, so expect some hype tunes from the Capital FM DJ. The Menedez Brothers are Ministry veterans and will be closing the main room in style.

Over in 103 we've got revered selector Luke Solomon going b2b with Hot Toddy, while Brian summer will be digging deep into his crate of house and disco rarities. The exciting new duo, Burger Fries 1.99 will be debuting their new productions and James From Accounts will be building on the success of his New Year's Eve set with more dancefloor focused selections.
