Both J.Majik & Wickaman have been at the forefront of the drum & bass scene for over 15 years, running numerous record labels and collaborating with the likes of D&B legends including Goldie, Adam F and DJ Hype. It was Goldie’s Metalheadz imprint that released J’s ‘Your Sound’ track when he was just 16 years old, having had several releases on cult UK label, Suburban Base. The ensuing years have seen them both earn their underground stripes and craft an enviable reputation as two of the scene’s leading lights, put them together and you have a partnership that has broken new ground for the genre.

Hotly tipped vocalist and songwriter, Dee Freer, provides the song and vocals on ‘In Pieces’. Freer started out writing and featuring on underground hip hop and grime tracks fresh from college with her first release in March 2007 with Doom Man, Sweetie Irie & Dee Freer – ‘No Apologies Run The Streets’ on the ‘Until That Day Vol 2’ mixtape which also featured Tinie Tempah. She’s performed on Radio 1’s Live Lounge and sang the vocals on Spencer and Hill’s, 'I Want You', Bastin Van Shield’s, 'Get Low', and on Twisted Individuals 'Same Shit Different Day'.

Example’s kicked off 2011 with an almighty bang, already he’s sold-out his 15-date UK tour and had one of the biggest viral track hits of the year with the killer Skream collaboration ‘Shot Yourself in the Foot Again’ which received over 2 million YouTube views, climbed to #1 on HypeMachine and became a viral hit across the world.

There is no rest for man of the moment Example, he’s back and means business. Armed and ready to take over our airwaves once again his massive comeback single “Changed The Way You Kiss Me” gives us a taste of things to come from his third studio album, “Playing in the Shadows”, released later this year. Produced by dance pioneer Michael Woods, “Changed The Way You Kissed Me” sees Example back on form at his very best. Utilising a dirty bass backdrop infused with big synth-heavy hooks, Example is able to lay over his classic lyrical prowess of tales of girl trouble and unrequited love.

“Changed The Way You Kiss Me” has already received massive support from Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Annie Mac & Nick Grimshaw, as well as reaching #1 on HypeMachine within a matter of hours of it being leaked online, this huge summer anthem is sure to see Example tearing up dance floors and tents across the festival circuit in 2011!

As well as making tunes for his own eagerly anticipated album, Example has also featured on the Wretch 32 radio smash ‘Unorthodox’ and Giggs’s ‘Look Over Your Shoulder’. Alongside this and his new material, Example will be nurturing the leviathan that is Example Live with a constant stream of live dates across the UK and Europe leading all the way up to festival season including appearances at Wireless, Lovebox, Big Chill, V2011, Creamfields and he will be returning to the Balearics to headline this year’s Ibiza and Majorca Rocks.

Changed The Way You Kiss Me will be out in June 2011 and with fan uploaded samples already in their thousands on YouTube hits, it is clear that the love for Example’s genre bending club bangers is stronger than ever!

Ministry of Sound release ‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’ on 5th June featuring remixes from Steve Smart, Kris Menace, Mensah & Tom Starr.

Italian DJ and hit producer Alex Gaudino returns this summer with ‘What A Feeling,’ a collaboration with Destiny’s Child luminary Kelly Rowland.

Already alight in the club underworld, ‘What A Feeling’ is a stomping serving of euphoria, sounding perfectly devised for radio and Ibizan dance floors alike. The song is now heating up on UK airwaves, with five week up-front adds to Radio One, Capital Network, Kiss FM and 1Xtra. Mixes from Sunship, Henry John and Nicky Romero cement the song as the VIP hit of the summer.

Hailing from Italy, Alex Gaudino is perhaps best known for the smash hits ‘Destination Calabria’ and ‘I’m In Love (I Wanna Do It.)’ The former, an artful splicing of a Crystal Waters' vocal with Rune's ‘Calabria,’ hit number one in the UK Club Chart, and number four in the Official Singles Chart. The song was an international sensation and was accompanied by one of the most memorable dance videos of all time, featuring a troop of raunchy marching girls. The track charted in the Top Ten across the globe, including Australia, France, Ireland and Spain.

Last year’s ‘I’m In Love (I Wanna Do It)’ was equally successful, taking the US Billboard club chart summit and hitting the UK top ten, becoming one of 2010’s seminal dance hits. Other notable releases, including ‘Watch Out’ have ensured Gaudino’s status as one of the world’s most successful and in-demand DJs.
Kelly Rowland enjoyed unprecedented success as one third of the international phenomenon Destiny’s Child between 1997 and 2006. In 2002, she launched her successful solo career with debut album Simply Deep, featuring the number one single ‘Dilemma’ with rapper Nelly. In 2009, Kelly embarked on her love affair with dance music, collaborating with David Guetta on the Grammy Award winning, number one single ‘When Love Takes Over.’ In the UK alone, Miss Rowland has scored six top ten smash hits to date, including two number one singles. Her third solo album is scheduled for release later in 2011.

Yasmin made her mark on the scene last year featuring on the Top 15 Devlin track ‘Runaway’, she went on to support Example on his UK tour and following her own intimate gigs released her debut single ‘On My Own’ in January, a Top 30 hit. She now prepares to release her new single she made with one of the UK’s hottest producers Labrinth - ‘Finish Line’ available through Levels Entertainment and Ministry of Sound on 9th May.

One of the most hotly tipped British female solo artists to emerge this year, ‘Finish Line’ nods to the cooler, beat-driven pop of the 1990s mixed with a contemporary sound that’s all Yasmin’s own evoking memories of early British trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack & Portishead; her fragility and imagination combine with lyrical wit and candid choruses that reflect her independence and genuine song-writing ability.
Yasmin became one of the hottest names on the scene at just 21 years old when she was spotted by no other than Pharell Williams during one of her DJ sets that soon led to studio sessions with Labrinth (Tinie Tempah), Future Cut (Lily Allen, Devlin) and Shy FX (Dizzee Rascal), who she has collaborated with on her debut album due in summer 2011.

This year Yasmin has been in the studio with Jamie Smith – producer and remixer of groundbreaking and Mercury music prize winning band The XX. She DJ’ed back to back with Jamie at the underground Young Turks night at The Boiler Room last month where they performed a version of a track they had worked on together, a cover of the massive dance classic ‘Touch Me’ by Riu De Silva. The metallic beat remix of the track coupled with Yasmin’s ethereal vocals have made it a massive hit on Hype Machine. Yasmin has also been working with some of the biggest names in music production in the US including Diplo (MIA, Kanye West) and The Smeezingtons (B.o.B, Kid Cudi, Bruno Mars).

Receiving support from industry tastemakers as well as her peers, Radio 1 have already been on the track with specialist plays from Annie Mac and Pete Tong, she is one of 1Xtra’s Ones To Watch this year, and she will be supporting Chase & Status on their UK tour next month. Last month Yasmin featured on the cover of the Brits issue of ES Magazine alongside other hotly tipped British females Claire McGuire, Katy B and Sunday Girl and the likes of i-D, Wonderland and Grazia have all pitched her as one to watch this year.
