DJ Mag Top 100 Poll returns in October 2013 with another outstanding line up. This year fans of the biggest global dance poll are in store for a major treat, with 2013 being the 20 Year Anniversary of the infamous ballot. Ministry of Sound and DJ Mag have proudly joined forces for the 2nd year running with an enormous 58 track / 3 Mix release including a selection of the Top 100 of 2013 across Mixes 1 & 2 as well as a never before special edition bonus Mix of the best voted DJ’s from the past 20 years. The package includes this year’s #1, all of 2013’s top 10 and all past top 100 winners.
With the successful release of the 2012 edition, it is no surprise the largest dance music magazine has continued to collaborate with Ministry of Sound, the largest dance music label and internationally renowned club, to bring you an epic 3 Mix album packed with the world’s biggest names and hottest club tracks - set for release on the 20st October.
Mix 1 features the current leading names in the electronic dance music scene including Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Porter Robinson, Knife Party, the first ever Top 100 winner Carl Cox and David Guetta.
Mix 2 includes iconic acts that have pioneered trance and progressive house such as Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Orjan Nilsen, Dash Berlin, Lange, Markus Schulz and Cosmic Gate to name but a few.
The 3rd Mix is dedicated to the 20 year anniversary with legendary names and tracks that have dominated the history of dance music and will forever be remembered for pioneering what we have today. True icons such as Tiesto, The Chemical Brothers, Sasha, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, Paul Van Dyk, Frankie Knuckles and Paul Oakenfold amongst others, deliver what is a fitting climax to the album.
With the Poll the biggest it’s ever been, Ministry of Sound and DJ Mag have delivered an album of equal proportions. To tie in with the album, DJ Mag are hosting the official Top 100 poll announcements at Amsterdam’s infamous ADE and in London in association with Ministry of Sound on the 19th October – just in time for the release of the DJ Mag Top 100 – 20 Years released a few days later.
