Born Scott Mescudi in Cleveland Ohio, Kid Cudi’s early converts include Kanye West. Having caught West’s ear and imagination, Cudi has been in the studio with the star collaborating on forthcoming album ‘808s & Heartbreak’ whilst simultaneously crafting his own debut LP, now due for release early 2009. Kid Cudi’s now seemingly unstoppable momentum has also lead to him being tipped by Rolling Stone and featured on the cover of the current edition of US music magazine XXL.
