This February Perasma’s Fabulous ‘Swing 2 Harmony’ finally gets a much deserved release on Ministry Of Sound’s Data Records imprint. In a time when dance music is full of samples and covers a record like this is simply a breath of fresh air. Laced with the seductive vocals and a stomping baseline Swing 2 Harmony takes dance music back to basics and in doing so creates a future club classic.

The original version has been doing the rounds for over a year and has had phenomenal support; it is easier to say who hasn’t played it than who has! Pete Tong and Judge Jules picked up on the record last year and Jules quickly made it his Funky Tried and Tested Tune! Other key support came from Galaxy DJ Paul Kershaw who played the track over twenty times on his network show, it was also voted tune of the year by his listeners! If that wasn’t impressive enough the record has been a massive priority for club DJ’s such as Sasha, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Burren! With this kind of support it was only a matter of time before the record got snapped up!

The superb remix package includes mixes from Gabriel & Dresden and MYNC Project. The original had been filling floors up and down the country so the introduction of the two new mixes to the nation’s dancefloors created quite a stir! Gabriel & Dresden do what they do best and keep it deep and melodic while MYNC give the track a funky twist that’s guaranteed to put you in the party mood!

Perasma are producers Yannis PK, Perasma and Nikola Gala. Hailing from Greece this is their first major release on UK shores and by the looks of things it is going to be the first of many!
