We venture through the biggest breakthrough remixes that truly catapulted dubstep into the limelight.

Back in the late 90s somewhere in Croydon, South London a dark new exciting sound was emerging from the embers of 2step garage, drum & bass, dub and grime, fast forward 10 years and dubstep had mutated into one of the most popular genre’s in modern musical history, its unstoppable rise to prominence has been nothing short of incredible and its mass exposure has resonated globally across radio airwaves, festivals and events.

We kick off with the biggest dubstep tracks of all time with Skream’s remix of ‘In For The Kill’ by La Roux followed by the very first dubstep #1 single by DJ Fresh with ‘Louder’. Other featured artists include Skrillex, Nero, Rusko and Flux Pavilion plus Benga, Breakage, Coki, Emalkay and Joy Orbison.
