Guy and Howard Lawrence have announced a break from Disclosure in a letter to fans
It's been a whirlwind seven years for the brothers, after being discovered on MySpace in 2010, Guy and Howard signed their first record deal at the tender ages of 15 and 18. Embarking on a UK tour and gaining underground attention from the likes of "My Intention Is War!" and "Offline Dexterity" it wasn't long before they hit they found crossover success.
Their first album, Settle and it's bevy of hit singles catapulted the Surrey lads to superstardom and they've since released a second album, toured the world, and received three Grammy nominations.
With such a hectic few years under their belt, it's no surprise that they've decided to take a much needed breather from the band. Speaking in a heartfelt letter to their fans, the Lawrence brothers stated they were only going to do a few things this year, one of them being the return of their curated festival, Wild Life.
But while fans will no doubt be upset that new music will not be forthcoming for the next while, the brothers did sign off with a "we will be back!" so hopefully they won'r be gone too long. Keep up to date will all things Disclosure here.
