Learn how to kick off your DJ career with Monki, BBC AZN Network, Jetsss and Hipster Don't Dance.

Radar Radio & Smirnoff Support the Next Generation of DJ Talent

We're fast approaching new year's resolution season, and if, like me, you're thinking 2017 might finally be the time to figure out how to do this beat-matching thing, then Radar Radio have some good news for you.

They're teaming up with Smirnoff to provide free workshops for aspiring DJs this Saturday. The workshops will take in practical skills, influences, looking for new music and navigating the music industry.

Workshops will be taught by Radar Radio stalwarts BBC AZN Network, Jetsss and Hipster Don't Dance, who have recorded a special promo mix (above).

Everyone who attends will record their own mix and one talented aspiring DJ will be chosen to perform a set at a one off Smirnoff x Radar Radio show.

The Radar Radio DJ Academy will take place this Saturday, 3rd December. If this sounds like something you'd like to get involved in, sign up here.
