Maxim is back in the solo seat with a track that couldn't be more apt for 2016
After six studio albums, two UK No.1 Singles, two Grammy nominations, two Brit Awards, 10 MTV/EMA Awards, Two Grammy Nominations and being voted the best dance act of all time, you could forgive Maxim for taking it easy for a bit. But r&r doesn't appear to be in the man's vocabulary, as just under a year since The Prodigy returned for The Day Is My Enemy, Maxim had been working on two blistering solo records for Death Drum Rebel.
Today we're incredibly excited to be premiering the second of those records, a huge track by the name of "Revolution" featuring vocals from YT. The track, seemingly like the man, is a nuclear bomb of energy. From the opening kicks it doesn't let up one bit, delivering four minutes sixteen seconds of rock-tinged, go-fucking-mental Drum & Bass.
To us "Revolution" is an angry track, it snarls, it rolls and it rages, and with everything that's happened this year, it's the perfect track for 2016.
"Revolution" is out now, you can get it here.
