Everything you missed form the world of dance music this weekend
After A Mammoth 20 Hours, The Last Track Played At Space Ibiza
Space Ibiza Closing Fiesta kicked off at 4PM yesterday and has only just finished. An astonishing 100 DJs played over the twenty hours, with Space mainstay Carl Cox going B2B with Nic Fanciulli for the final leg. Over 1.3 million people tuned into the broadcast on Facebook Live. The night ended with an appearance from Space owner Pepe Rosello. 80 year old Rosello came on the mic to thank the crowd, before being crowned 'the king of Ibiza' by Cox and Fanciulli. The night finally ended just after midday local time, with Cox having the last words: "hasta la vista".
The Final Record Played Was Angie Stone's "Wish I Didn't Miss You"
For the final ten minutes a number of tracks looked like they were going to be the prestigious final records. Worthy candidates including Armand van Helden's "You Don't Know Me", Ce Ce Peniston - "Finally" and "Donna Summer's "I Feel Love". But in the end Angie Stone's "I Wish I Didn't Miss You" took the honours. A left-field, but fitting choice from big man Coxy.

The event boasted an impressive lineup featuring Oizo, Hudson Mohawke and Ed Banger boss, Busy P. But Oizo took it up a notch when his longterm buddy, Flat Eric appeared for a rare DJ set. Eric went B2B with Oizo and dropped his signature tune, "Flat Beat". Watch the performance here.
