To The Final Track Of Carl Cox's 15 Year Residency

Tears were shed on the dancefloor.

The weight of anticipation would have hung heavy on Carl Cox's shoulders this Ibiza season

With the final set of his fifteen year residency at Space looming, one has to wonder what went through the veteran DJ's mind as he tried to choose the perfect closing track.

Landing on CeCe Rogers' seminal "Someday", Cox went for timeless to bring together twenty years of dancefloor history. A track that's been around nearly as long as Space itself, it's been credited as the first house track to be released on a major label, bridging the gap between underground and mainstream that Ibiza's offerings would soon become synonymous with.

You can watch the entire nine hour stream of the set right here.

Carl will be making a final appearance at Space's closing Fiesta next Sunday, more info here.
