Calvin Harris Remains The Highest Paid DJ For Third Year

Staying humble with his $63 million a year salary.

Calvin Harris has topped Forbes’ Electronic Cash Kings list, beating Tiesto and David Guetta to be the world’s best paid DJ

His $63 million a year earnings are boosted by his Las Vegas residency, which the Daily Mail speculates earn him $400,000 per gig. Harris’s salary sets him a bold $25 million apart from his number two, Tiesto, whose $38 million is likely serviced by his sponsorship deal with 7UP.

The rest of the list is as predictable as you’d imagine; Diplo, Martin Garrix and Zedd populate the male only list. The only change from the 2015 list was the trio of Avicii, Afrojack and Deadmau5 falling out of the top ten, while Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike made their debut.

Harris celebrated the news with a quiet humble brag about how “the product of 1 man in a room can reach so many people!”.

Full List:

1. Calvin Harris, $63 million

2. Tiësto, $38 million

3. David Guetta, $28 million

4. Zedd, $24.5 million

5. Steve Aoki, $23.5 million

6. Diplo, $23 million

7. Skrillex, $20 million

8. Kaskade, $19 million

9. Martin Garrix, $16 million

10. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, $15.5 million
