Paul Van Dyk Releases Statement After 3 Month Silence

The trance DJ has been out of action for three months.

The trance world was in shock when Paul Van Dyk suffered a six foot fall in Utrecht

The trance DJ was air lifted to hospital after a miss-footing caused him to tumble from a stage. It has meant that the set at the ASOT festival in the Netherlands was the last time fans were able to catch him play live.

Good news has come via Facebook, as PVD has come out to update fans on his well-being. A lengthy statement thanks his fans, doctors and industry partners, calling the experience “the most difficult challenge I have ever been through.

The statement touchingly thanks his girlfriend, Margarita, who he calls the “love of his life”. The post has been commented on by numerous big names, including Ferry Corsten, Darude and Armin Van Buuren.
