Internet Celebrities Join forces for Launch of Native Digital
Ministry of Sound and Native.Digital are bringing together some of today’s top social media stars for one night only in London. From 7:00pm to 1:00 am on Wednesday, May 11th, join favourite online influencers and tastemakers including Curtis Lepore, Gabriel Valenciano, Matthew Windey, JoJoe, Jerry Purpdrank, Maye Star, Max Jr, Joey Salads, Dan Nampaikid, and Jason Mendez.
With a following of 55 million people over multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, these powerful influencers are joining forces to bring “Social Summer 2016” to European audiences.
The party will feature live performances by Maye Star, who uses a fusion of hip-hop, R&B, electric, and soul to create “future beats,” and Jerry Purpdrank, a social media producer and rapper. VEGANS featuring Jason Mendez and Max Jr will also premiere a new DJ set.
Among the social media celebrities joining the festivities are Curtis Lepore, who alone has 15 million followers across social media platforms, Gabriel Valenciano, a filmmaker and artist known for his VMA nomination for choreographing Beyonce’s viral 7/11 video, and Matthew Windey, a Colombian native renowned for his witty videos produced in English and in Spanish. The event is presented by Native.Digital, an emerging app platform that connects social media personalities (or “influencers” as they are known by many) to brands. Native.Digital gives influencers the ability to use brands in their videos without compromising the content.
“Native.Digital is going to improve our fans' experience, totally” says Lepore. The platform will go live at the end of May, enabling increased collaboration between brands, charities, and social media content creators. The Ministry of Sound party marks its introduction to the UK and Europe.
This party will kickstart a series of Social Media events across Europe, including London, Barcelona and Cannes where Native.Digital will introduce the upcoming release of HIRO, a social media network that links influencers with charities and causes.
These events will showcase some of the influencer’s newest content, and also provide an opportunity for them to reveal the secrets for social media success. The tour culminates with a special event at the Cannes Film Festival on May 15th - details forthcoming.
