The realms of fantasy and reality are officially broken as MC Grindah and the gang have been nominated for a BAFTA
After gripping the hearts and minds of the nation with ‘People Just Do Nothing’, BBC Three’s scalliest comedy pioneers have been recognised by the hallowed halls of the British Academy.
Nominated for Best Scripted Comedy alongside Peep Show, Chewing Gum and Peter Kay’s Car Share, we’re putting money on the whole crew turning up - as they always do - in character.
Whether they win or not, we want to see Craig David on the red carpet as part of their entourage, and Chabuddy G giving the interview of his life to Mylenne Klass, as she no doubt tries to slip in some of that classic grime lingo we all know she loves. We want outrage as Steves photobombs the cast of Downton Abbey.
With the news that Peep Show’s Super Hans is soon to be taking to the decks, it appears we've not only got a comedy stand off, but a possible musical one. We can only hope the BAFTA after party will bring stories of a five hour back to back between both casts.
