Forget Yeesus, Make Room For EZeus
DJ EZ took one more step on his road to sainthood this weekend after completing a marathon 24 hour DJ set in aid of Cancer Research. The whole thing was live-streamed on Boiler Room and the Garage legend managed to raise a whopping £55,000. We reckon we need to set up a Change.org petition to get EZ a knighthood, for services to music, who's with us?

Avicii Is No Longer An Artist, He’s A Company
The artist formerly known as Avicii has been named “the 6th fastest growing business in Europe”, according to Inc Magazine. The publication, which focuses on growing companies, stated that his growth as a brand has gone up 1905% in three years, bolstered by hits like "Hey Brother" and the ubiquitous "Levels". Partnering with world dominators like Coca Cola has meant that soon people will no longer think of him as a Swedish EDM DJ, but rather a major health risk.

As the video below shows, it appears Van Dyk had mounted what has been described as “an elevated stage”, subsequently making a mis-footing. Festival founder Armin Van Buuren announced the main stage would remain closed as a mark of respect.
‘Level Animals!’- New Video of Deadmau5 Inebriated Has Surfaced
These days the tour lives of big DJs seem to be mainly played out via Instagram filters and well curated social posts. So it’s refreshing to see a little bit of the debauchery unmasked, which is why we’re revelling in this video filmed by someone at a Deadmau5 show in Ontario. Shot after Zimmerman’s Mua5hax gig, the video shows the Mau5 requesting the closing DJ play ‘Levels’ by Avicii, or ‘Animals’ by Martin Garrix, or indeed, a mash up of the two. Whether he gets his wish or not is The never revealled, as he’s pulled off stage by his tour manager.
