TomorrowWorld festival made headlines last year for all the wrong reasons
After rain and storms battered its arena, festival goers were left stranded and sleeping on pizza boxes when organised transport failed to turn up.
The festival’s string of bad luck showed no sign of winding up, as reports suggest that the American arm of Belgium’s EDM bonanza may face cancellation this summer.
The no show is due to the bankruptcy of SFX, the company in charge of organising festivals like TomorrowWorld and Electric Zoo. Whilst TomorrowLand is reportedly going ahead, organisers of the US edition say that “no concrete plans have yet been made for TomorrowWorld 2016”.
Does this mean good riddance to a festival that proved to be more trouble than it was worth? With so many festivals springing up over the States, perhaps one less might go unnoticed.
