Martin Garrix Rounds Off 2015 With One Final Collaboration

Martin Garrix is seeing his final year of teen-hood off in style with the announcement of a collaboration with Steve Aoki. His 2015 has been peppered with strong EDM link ups, including music with Tiesto and Avicii. Whether or not the new collab will be released on Garrix’s newly announced record label is yet to be seen.


Skrillex Releases A Hideously Scary Trailer For His New Music Video

Skrillex proves there’s no rest for the wicked with the release of a new trailer for the video for his remix of GTA’s ‘Red Lips’. A month too late for Halloween, the minute long cut is likely the scariest thing you’ll see this side of Christmas, with a horror film vibe that looks like it needs to come with a Parental Guidance warning. One Person Has Died At Supersonic Festival, Australia

Hailed as one of Australia’s most prestigious festivals, Supersonic boasted a line-up of Galantis, Major Lazer and MK. However, news of several arrests and the sad death of one attendee has seen it hit the news for the wrong reasons. ABC reports that police are suggesting a drug overdose was the cause of the twenty five year old’s death.


Jackmaster and Diplo Went B2B In A Chalet

Ahead of the annual Bugged Out Weekender, old stalwarts Jackmaster and Eats Everything have given an interview dissecting their favourite memories. Turns out 2016 will be Jackmaster’s 30th birthday, so watch out for an army of Glaswegians ready to tear the place up. The Scottish DJ also revealed that his first weekender was landmarked by a chalet back-to-back with non-other than Diplo, who apparently took all the girls with him when he left. Quelle surprise.

Mura Masa Is On The BBC Sound Of List

This year’s BBC Sound Of line up has been revealed, and we’re already hedging our bets on potential winners. With previous award scoopers including Years & Years and Adele (way back when), the winner is a sound bet for future success. Batting for the electronic team this year is 18 year old rising star Mura Masa, whose ‘Someday Somewhere’ EP has been on rotation this year.
