Has TomorrowWorld Cleared Its Name?

Having dramatically fallen from grace, TomorrowWorld calls on the diversity of its audience to win hearts back

We reported on the chaos that surrounded TomorrowWorld Festival back in September

After bad weather left organisers stumped and festival attendees stranded, the American EDM blowout hasn’t been out of the news. Last month it came under fire for the mass confusion caused when they refunded the wrong amount of money to those only able to attend one day; instead of refunding a third of the price, attendees were given the whole amount back. The festival then had to deduct the excess price.

In a likely attempt to re divert interest from its failings to its successes, the festival has released a mini documentary on some of its attendees. The outcome is a right old mix of PLUR flavoured cheesiness and straight up heart warming decency.

Entitled The People of Dreamville, the eight minute video follows the festival experiences of a couple, an army official and a cancer survivor, all of whom attend TomorrowWorld with different motivations.

It’s not the sort of thing you’d see Glastonbury releasing, but it serves as a decent reminder that not all hope was lost over the TomorrowWorld weekend. Maybe there is a chance that it’ll be a success next year.
