DJ Mag Top 100

And there's no prizes for guessing which genre and country dominated.

Hardwell has been knocked off the top spot

DJ Mag have just revealed the results of their Top 100 DJ poll of 2015. In a year that has seen the poll attract harsh criticism from across the dance music world, the ultimate winner actually turned out to be a bit of an upset when Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & like Mike were crowned the champs.

Martin Garrix was widely regarded as the favourite to top the poll, but in the end he finished third with two time No.1, Hardwell, coming in second. Needless to say the results have already sparked a bit debate on Twitter and we're sure there be as many promoters as detractors. But for now Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are boarding a private jet and flying off to London, where they'll be headlining the Top 100 DJs party at the Brixton Academy.

Congratulations to UK lads, Disclosure, for making their first appearance on the list and props to Deadmau5 for having no voting campaign yet still remaining in the top 25.
