The Search For DJ Derek Takes A Turn As Map Is Found

The 73 year old DJ has been missing since July

The UK’s oldest performing DJ, Derek Serpell-Morris, has been missing from his Bristol home since July

His niece reported him missing after his bus pass was used in Thornbury, South West England, on the 11th of July. Since then a nationwide search has been put out for him, including calls for help from various high profile DJs and musicians.

The first news since summer has now surfaced, as Derek’s niece Jennifer has come forward to say that a map has been found in the DJs home.

“We have found a map of South Gloucestershire in Derek’s home and he has focused on the area of Dursley, drawing the letter H in a circle on a road there,”

With the ‘H’ standing potentially for ‘hospital’, it is now thought that Derek may have boarded another bus after leaving Thornbury. People from Dursley and its surrounding are urged to contact local police or Jennifer via her Twitter.
