Till He Comes:
An Interview
With ATB

Ahead of his headline show this weekend, ATB discusses the all important questions.

Still filling dancefloors with hits like "Till I Come" and "Hold You", we're excited to welcome ATB to The Gallery on Friday.

He was kind enough to answer a few of our questions before the big night.

Hi Andre, how’s it going today?

Hi I´m good, thank you.

Friday will be your Ministry of Sound debut for The Gallery, but have you ever played the club prior?

I played at the Ministry of Sound a long time ago, when I was still playing vinyl! I really loved playing there, the crowd and atmosphere have always been amazing!

It will also be the re-arranged show, after suffering a back injury earlier in the year – hope you’ve recovered fully now?

Yes, I have recovered - but I know I have to be careful! I´m getting older you see…

Any influences from that breakthrough "Till I Come" track are present in your current music?

I think I can't hide my influences from the past, but it's very important for me to get into today's culture with my sound. However I also think that my experiences from the past have shaped my unique sound - so I am grateful for all of this.

DJ Mag Top 100 voting is upon us once again, who is your tip for this year’s breakthrough DJ?

That's a really good question. I don't know, honestly. I don't feel I've seen enough performances or listened to enough music this year to make a confident statement for this year's breakthrough DJ.

One track you’ll definitely be playing on Friday is…?

My new track which comes out Aug 14th. Beautiful!

Finally in good old Gallery tradition, three words to describe your forthcoming set?

Lots of ENERGY!

ATB will be making his Gallery debut this Friday 31st July at Ministry of Sound. Get your tickets here.
