Search Posters Go Up For DJ Derek

The 73 year old Bristolian DJ has been missing for three weeks

After reports of his disappearance have shocked the UK, posters are to be distributed around Bristol calling to find DJ Derek

The oldest DJ in the country has been a firm favourite on both the local and national music scene, playing reggae and dancehall since he left his accountant job in his mid thirties.

Since then he's made a name playing festivals like Glastonbury, and has a fanbase that includes Massive Attack, Addison Groove and Rob Da Bank. Check him out showing up Dizzee Rascal in his 2010 video for "Dirtee Disco".

Today, posters will go up around Bristol reporting his missing person's status. Made by family, they'll no doubt help keep all eyes out for this legend of British music.
