Ahead of his support slot for Dyro this Friday 10th July, D.O.D picks his top five tracks

Will K – "Here Comes The Sun"

Will K is a producer from Melbourne, Australia that I just started getting tracks from. He sent me this a few weeks back through my promo mail and it completely blew me away. I started playing it out immediately in my sets and it’s definitely a highlight track. The vocal and build in the second break gives me goose bumps. Brilliant record.

This is my latest solo production on Dyro’s WOLV imprint. I sent him this the day I finished it back in February and he snapped it up straight away. Dyro has been one of my favourite producers for about 3 years now and I have a lot of respect for him for what he can do in the studio, so it was a great feeling signing this record to his label as I’ve heard he’s super picky about what he chooses. Something really out of the box here for me, trying to keep a nice UK dubby sound in the break and something really original in the drop.

Jack U Ft. Bunji Garlin – "Jungle Bae"

I love this record. I’m not usually a fan of the ‘hands up’ kind of vocals but this is a super cool track. Jungle Terror influences are apparent in this record, it’s a great way to get the party started! Definitely a key track in my sets right now.

The Magician – "Sunlight" (Kryder & Tom Staar Remix)

So much energy in this record in the drop. Tom gave me this at WMC back in March and I’ve been playing it ever since. The vocal is amazing and I feel the summer vibes popping out of the speakers. The 8bit synth fill get’s me going every time in this track, a crowd booster record for sure.

Mike Cervello – "Nayru" (Original Mix)

This track has just been released on Yellow Claw’s Barong Family record label. Again, lots of Jungle Terror influences here, which I’m really loving at the moment. I love dropping this when the time is right to really flip my DJ set on it’s head. Proper fist pumper!

D.O.D will be supporting Dyro in The Box on Friday 10th July. Get your tickets here.
