It may be over for another year, but we don't want you to feel like you missed out on Ultra Music Festival 2015 - so here are our top ten favourite sets from the weekend
Our buddy from Barcelona, Dosem, made his Ultra debut this year and he pulled absolutely no punches. A harder set than we're used to, he took the Sunday crowd into the dark and kept them there, enraptured, for the next hour. Look out for him in our upcoming film about Miami Music Week.
Agoria kicked off our Saturday afternoon with an airy set of jacking house and darker techno. This was just the thing to clear the cobwebs from the previous night out of our muddled brains.
8. Seth Troxler
The underground king of America returned to Bayfront Park to play the tea-time slot on the Carl Cox and Friends stage. He took things deeper than usual and didn't let up until it was time for John Digweed to lay down the sunset soundtrack.
The tropical house don, is the soundtrack of Miami right now. His music is the sound of instagram filters, neon signs, majestic casual girls and a thousand palm trees swaying in the wind. A definite highlight.
6. Carl Cox
The big man from Britain had his own stage for two nights and closed it out on both occasions. It was a perfect blend of house and techno, old and new, and temporally transported the whole crowd to the Space Ibiza terrace.
The masked man laid-down a set loaded with his own material. "Wrong" into "Ghost" being a personal highlight - how about those Tupac keys?! If this has you in the mood to don a venetian mask and party like it's Ultra, get down to our London club this Friday, we're he'll be headlining.
The preacherman took no hostages in this balls-to-the-wall future house spectacular. Hot on the heels of Ministry-released top 5 hit, "Promesses", he attracted a huge crowd and they weren't disappointed.
3. Jamie Jones
Closing out the first year of the Resistance stage, Jamie had us jacking until the afterparty with his alternative selections - just don't get into an underground debate with him!
It's no secret that we're big fans of Mr Kinchen here at Ministry of Sound - we've put out some of his biggest tracks. He's a house hero and one of dance music's few bona fide rock stars. How could we not put him in our top three?
Who else could get the number one slot other than Skrillex? He pulled out of all the stops this year, bringing out a seemingly endless stream of top tier guests including Diplo, P-Diddy and Justin Bieber. Sit back, relax and watch this start to finish - you won't be disappointed.
