Tough Love Choose
The Best Of Def Mix

This week's club headliner's choose their Def Mix label picks.

As Ministry prepares to welcome both Tough Love (18th April) and Def Mix (all day takeover - 3rd May), we got Alex and Stef from Get Twisted to show their support for the legendary label home of Frankie Knuckles, with five essential picks from Def Mix; from one house label to another.

Frankie Knuckles - "The Whistle Song"

Alex: "It wouldn't be right to start off a Def Mix selection without the godfather of house, Frankie. A timeless classic that no DJ's crate is complete without"

Rosie Gaines - "Closer Than Close" (Frankie's Classic Club Mix)

"Still to this day one of the biggest house classics. So many had tried to recreate and remix this record, but there's none better than this one right here"

Jamiroquai - "Space Cowboy" (David Morales Classic Club Mix)

"Take one of the biggest records from one the biggest global groups from the 90s and let David Morales remix it and you end up with a classic cut that always stands up in any club in any country"

Ce Ce Peniston - "Finally" (12" Choice Mix)

"There simply are not enough words to do this record justice"

Tough Love are headlining Ministry Of Sound on Saturday 18th of April. Tickets are on last release right here.

Legends of house Def Mix are bringing their New York sounds to London on the bank holiday for an all day and night party. Snap up a ticket for this unmissable day party here.
