Dutch EDM stars are being celebrated in a slightly different way this week
The Netherlands have always been proud to boast a plethora of superstar DJ’s, the extent of which can now be seen as Dutch megastars: Afrojack, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto and Dash Berlin have become immortalised in the form of a postage stamp.
The stamps have come as a result of the infamous “Amsterdam Dance Event” which takes place next weekend and will feature five days of events, conferences, talk and, of course, parties. Amsterdam Dance Event has built it's reputation over recent years to become the Autumn equivalent of the Ibiza Music Summit. Ministry of Sound will be attending this years event to bring you exclusive interviews, news and gossip. Plus we've got a few other surprises up our sleeves so stay tuned for more info.
Furthermore, the stamps come fully equipped with a special barcode, which fans can then scan to receive a free tune courtesy of the artist.
With a predicted 5 million stamps in circulation, this has got to be one of the best promotional campaigns dance music has ever seen.
