The biggest list in dance music is back and DJs are already asking for your vote

The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs is like the Forbes Rich List, The NME Cool List, The Grammys and Eurovision all rolled into one. This is the place that sorts the men from the boys and is probably the most accurate gauge of a DJs global popularity.

A DJs ranking on this list is a badge of honour and a great assessment of their career, so every DJ wants to chart as high as possible on the list. That's where you come in because the list is compiled entirely from fan votes.

As competition in the DJ world has only gotten fiercer, recent years have seen DJs taking to social media, to creating customised election posters, hashtags and campaign videos. Indeed, even though voting only opened today, two superstar DJs are already on the campaign trail, check out the videos from Nicky Romero and Hardwell below.

The 2013 list was topped by dutch superstar Hardwell and followed by: 2) Armin van Burren, 3) Avicii, 4) Tiesto, 5) David Guetta, 6) Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, 7) Nicky Romero, 8) Steve Aoki, 9) Afrojack, and Dash Berlin at number 10.
