CUFF To Take Over Ministry of Sound

The new faces of French house will host a Label showcase in August.

The fresh faces of French house are coming to SE1 this August

Amine Edge & DANCE are the latest in a string of infamous French duos to come along and totally shake up the dance music scene. First there was Daft Punk and the dawn of acid house, then a decade later Justice taught the rock kids to dance, now Amine Edge & DANCE have taken Ibiza by storm with their pioneering G-house sound.

By taking the style and bounce of gangsta rap and combining it with the energy of house, Amine Edge & DANCE quickly became one of the most in-demand acts in dance music. Going from being relative unknowns to selling out thousand capacity venues in little more than a year, it comes as no surprise, then that their label CUFF, has quickly amassed a huge following.

Now the boys are coming to Ministry of Sound and bringing their Label mates with them, so let us introduce to some of the names who will be performing on the night.

CUFF's head honcho's and the headliners for the night, this is the track that made the world sit up and pay attention to Amine Edge & DANCE's G-house sound.

STUFF has been a firm fixture in the Parisian scene since the 2007 French house revival, which saw him work alongside Miss Kitten and Acid Washed. "Working Time" was his first track on CUFF, and indeed the first ever release on the imprint.

The most recent release on CUFF comes from hip house enthusiast Sirus Hood, who along with Amine Edge & Dance is adept at producing that hallmark G-house bounce. "What You Are" will be on CUFF 007 when it's released on 23rd June.

Also on CUFF 007 "Make You Sweat" come from the only none-frenchman on the bill. SION is a talented London-based producer, who has been supported by names as prestigious as Annie Mac, Chase & Status and Solomun.

Tickets for CUFF at Ministry of Sound are on sale now.
