We take a look back at the sounds and pseydonyms that shaped his illustrious career.

After the shock announcement that the 'godfather of dubstep' will be hanging up his DJ headphones at the end of the year, we take a look back at the sounds and pseydonyms that shaped his illustrious career

Zed Bias Feat. Nicky Prince & MC Rumpus - "Neighbourhood"

The track that made Dave Jones, or rather Zed Bias, a household name . "I Feel Good" was a crossover hit that reached No.25 in the UK Singles Chart in 2000.

Phuturistix - "Frequencies"

2001, and Dave teams up with DJ Injekta (Sefton Motley) to form UK garage/broken beat duo, Phuturistix. They would go on to release two full length albums on Hospital Records and "Frequencies" was one of their first early hits.

Zed Bias Feat. Jenna G - "Let Me Change Your Mind"

2008 and Zed teams up with breakbeat vocalist Jenna G to produce the insanely infectious "Let Me Change Your Mind". Zed would team up with Jenna again in 2011 on his sixth studio album Biasonic Hotsauce: Birth of the Nanocloud.

Omar & Zed Bias - "Dancing"

In 2011, Zed's frequent collaborator Omar released his first solo material since 2006 on a limited vinyl run on Tru Thoughts Records. The two produced "Dancing" which, as its name suggests, was a big hit on the dancefloor.

Zed Bias feat. Skream - "Badness"

After the global dubstep explosion, Zed Bias and Skream team up to produce the dark stomper"Badness".

Maddslinky - "Compuphonic"

Maddslinky returned in 2012 when Compuphonic became the second release on Broadwalk, the newly minted label headed up by superstar producer and house music revivalist, Juilo Bashmore. "Compuphonic" marked Maddslinky's first major foray into straight up house music and quickly became a dancefloor classic.

Destiny's Child - "Bills Bills Bills" (Phuturistix Remix)

2012 and Phuturistix reunite to turn in the definitive remix of the iconic R&B group's girl power anthem "Bills Bills Bills".

Zed Bias - "Tug"

"Tug" was the lead single from Zed Bias's eighth album, Boss. Boss  is the most recent album from the producer and also marks his first full release on respected bass label Swamp 81. A regular fixture at Swamp's label nights, Zed's album was the second full length release to be put out by the Loefah and Boddika helmed crew.

Zed Bias - "Music Deep Inside"

Zed's second release for Swamp 81 was a much moodier, funkier affair. "Music Deep Inside" saw Zed utilizing plush disco lifts and luxurious sub bass to create a polished, deep sound.

Secondcity - "I Wanna Feel" (Zed Bias Remix)

2014 and Zed Bias is one of the official remixers of Secondcity's No.1 hit "I Wanna Feel".
