Sebastien Leger makes his live debut on Saturday 28th May at Ministry of Sound.
Saturday 28th May sees a very special debut from our French resident and Mistakes label owner, Sebastien Leger. For this exclusive event, Seb will be joined by Alexi Delano and Gregor Tresher in the Box with back up support in the 103 from Solomun, Nicole Moudaber and Spieltrieb.
For the last year or so, Ministry of Sound club has been championing Sebastien Leger’s label night Mistakes, which has seen guest appearances from 2000 and one, Bart Skils, KaiserDisco, Superflu and many more. This time around, Leger takes it one step further with a full on live show using Ableton Live 8. Never done before in the club or anywhere else that we know of, the night promises to be an intense moment in music, with Sebastien playing an extended set.
To add to the night, Gregor Tresher will be celebrating the launch of his new artist EP, ‘Lights from the Inside.’ With Ministry being his only London date as part of his worldwide tour, his performance will see him sampling tracks from the new album for the first time in the UK. After two decades on the scene and numerous releases on labels such Cocoon, Moon Harbour and Ovum, the 3rd artist album comes fully packed with all the infused elements that make up his unique sound. From Berlin’s Berghain to Ministry of Sound, the German DJ leaves his mark on every event.
Polishing off this ridiculously good line up is Alexi Delano, who is no stranger to the clubs sound system. Having worked with Jesper Dahlback and released on Plus 8 and Truesoul, he is at the top of his game with no signs of slowing down. Bridging the gap between minimal and techno, he switches the night up a notch or two with his distinct sound.
The 103 gets a refreshing taste of exciting talent from Solomun, Nicole Moudaber and Spieltrieb. Signed to Diynamic alongside David August and Stimming, he has become an instant figure on the dance music scene with his tracks and style being described as ‘redefining’ house music. Lady of the decks, Nicole Moudaber has gone from strength to strength over the last year or so with a summer long residency at Space Ibiza and support from the likes of Marco Bailey, Pete Tong and Adam Beyer. With full backing from both Saturday Sessions and The Gallery she is destined for big things, much alike Spieltrieb who have come on board the Saturday sessions team, look out for these guys as you will be seeing a lot more of them over the coming months.
