On Saturday 24th November Ministry of Sound opens its doors for another dose of Size Matters. Headlining the show, are Size Records stars AN21 and Max Vangeli, who after building up a worldwide fan base with releases on the label, have played many of the world’s biggest clubs and festivals.  The release of their long awaited debut, “People Of The Night,” not only showcased their innate song writing talent, but reminded us of their sheer ability to elevate a dance floor. Without a doubt this ebullient duo excels in delivering the energy of their music with them wherever they go!

Playing alongside Max and AN21 are the ever-growing duo, Qulinez. Famous for their distinctive soaring synth sounds and the sheer magnitude of their production, these guys have gone from strength to strength. Named breakout stars of 2012 by Beat My Day blog, and gaining great acclaim with recent remixes of The Joy Formidable’s “ A Heavy Abacus” and Don Diablo’s “Silent Shadows.”  These guys have such a big room sound, their set is sure to raise the roof!

We also welcome back Brighton based Tim Mason, who landed a place on Size Matters label after Steve Angelo heard his massive track, “The Moment.”  When we caught up with Tim after his last performance at Ministry, he described the feeling he likes to create when DJing. “I live for [creating] those moments on the dance floor when everyone and everything is electric.” We can’t wait to feel this moment on the world’s best club sound system!

Also on the line up are Wayne and Woods, Size’s youngest artists.  These energetic and dedicated musicians have an attention to detail in production and a connection with their audience that definitely belies their years. We are keeping an eye on these guys as the ones to watch in 2013!

If you have ever been to a Size party, you will know that Size really does Matter. As waving hands create a human skyline amongst the crowds, the signature big room production will be sure to deliver the moments that last a lifetime.  Join us, on the world’s largest sound system- for a night not to be missed! See you there.

The meticulous imprint of Steve Angello has exceeded its façade as a vital underground asset into one of the globes most sought after House imprint to date. From Miami all the way to the UK, a solemn nod from every imaginable avenue has indicated an outstanding factor: Size Matters.

The rich development of this glowing imprint is one of dreams, determination and defiance. First there was Steve Angello – impending mafia man and industrious underground visionary. Exceeding the realms of Sweden and mastering the European club scene, 2003 would see Size Record establish itself as the fount of his earlier studio outings.

Ascending ahead of Electronic Dance Music’s untimely explosion, the brand of colourful club fuel associated with multifarious mafia continued to stray from the generic. Incorporating family values into its daily dealings of enthusiastic club fuel, the past decade has laid the grounds for a very special movement in EDM.

But Steve has never been one for small measures. Set to build on his own sizeable contributions to the imprint, his eye for unique talents of a likeminded persuasion has beckoned the likes of Laidback Luke, Sebastian Ingrosso, Afrojack, Tong & Spoon and TV Rock to align forces on the labels ascent. In a bid lead the way with an invigorating sound scope of unchartered potential and unmistakable valour, Size Records truly became the bigger picture in Electronic Dance Music.

Alongside its impressive roster, the labels calling card has been that of a passionate family of new-school contenders. From the melodic realms of unstoppable studio duo Max Vangeli and AN21 to vibrant British assets Third Party and Tim Mason, each member of its sterling roster has not only shone a light for fresh talent across the globe, but also seen themselves inaugurated into a musical bloodline of a truly exceptional calibre. Launching into 2012 with Swedish newcomers Qulinez and Wayne & Woods, this a family growing more stable with every new addition to its roster.

Once the fountainhead of Steve Angello’s impending career at the forefront of Electronic Dance music, Size Records has proven not only a promising platform for diverse talent and fresh sounds alike, but a breeding ground for the impending legacies of the next generation of game changing House trailblazers. Where family is concerned, don’t let anyone tell you that Size doesn’t matter; this is a formidable family that is only getting stronger.
