In its first 3 months, UNITRASH hosted over 100 events in Student Unions and venues around the country, including large scale events with brand partners Superdry / CULT. The first of these took place in Liverpool to great success, achieving a full house at Bumper Nightclub and a great night had by all!

This motivated us to carry out more big scale events, so this term we’ve taken things one step further, gone to the next level, and combined UNITRASH with some credible talent for the Ice-Breaker Tour. This tour brought together the likes of Artwork (Magnetic Man), Utah Saints, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Time Takers, Jacob Plant and resident DJ R3wire. The Tour is currently taking place in 11 universities across the UK (Stafford, Bournemouth, London, Swansea, Cardiff, Southampton, Buckinghamshire, Plymouth, Newcastle, Norwich (UEA), and Glasgow) - check out our Facebook page www.facebook.com/unitrash for all the latest.

In addition to this, we have obtained new residencies in Stafford, Southampton, Greenwich and have some exciting new developments further afield. We are working
on a tour with Outgoing and Summer Break for March, and we have a huge series of events pencilled in for May.

On the whole, UNITRASH has now set out its stall as the new kid on the block in credible clubbing and is looking forward to what can only be described as an epic 2012!! To be a part of it, and bring UNITRASH to a city new you, get in touch now.

This is UNITRASH...for students that know better!

Officially kicking off in Glasgow a few months ago, UniTrash is the latest in credible student clubbing brought to you by Ministry of Sound - and last month we hit Liverpool for the ultimate student night!

On November 22nd, UniTrash joined forces with the heavyweight fashion brand Superdry and official retailer Cult for an epic student event at one of Liverpool's hottest clubs, Bumper. With Ministry of Sound DJs including R3wire and Varski and a packed dancefloor all night long, we can safely say the night was a huge success and we caught the whole thing on video!

Were you there? Watch the video below and keep an eye on the UniTrash website for news on special guests, forthcoming events and the hottest tunes, because next year we might just be coming to your city!

So, Unitrash has officially kicked off in cities around the UK. After what can only be described as an 'epic' freshers' week, we are doing everything we can to keep the party going!

Glasgow Union was the first Unitrash event to kick of, and now several weeks in, all we can say is wow!! Back to back to back sell-out events and an overwhelming response from all involved. It seems Scotland has finally found what's been missing for too long. Keep up the good work!

The Academy at Brunel has not only launched Unitrash well, but has taken on stiff competition in doing so. Every Wednesday thus far has been a must attend night for the students there, and the venue is not only back on the map, but is rocking the town of Uxbridge every week.

Sunderland and Nottingham Trent have also got off to flying starts, seeing capacity launch nights. They have put their own spin on things, and it is being done to great affect. We expect big things there...

And finally, at Abertay (Dundee) and Manchester Met, it seems the party is only just getting started. But if the others are anything to go by, you students are in for a treat!

The Unitrash team felt that too many people across the UK were missing out on their chance to experience what is quickly becoming the most talked about student events in the UK, so we will be taking some of the best UK DJ's, our production van and the rest of the kit to a few other cities over the coming weeks. Our first stops were Greenwich Freshers' Week and Derby for their Freshers' Ball. They were massive!! A full house...a banging soundtrack...and on the whole...two mental nights.

And who's next?
