The Gallery Presents Smirnoff Be There – 2012 Finale 21/12/2012

Box:

R3HAB
SIDNEY SAMSON
MICHAEL WOODS
BASSJACKERS

103 – Gallery Residents Showcase:

BEN GOLD
LEE OSBORNE
ALI WILSON

On Friday 21st December, Smirnoff arrive at The Gallery following their series of sell-out parties across the globe. Featuring an all-star DJ cast consisting of R3hab, Sidney Samson, Bassjackers and our very own resident Michael Woods, the usual fun and frolics are guaranteed, ensuring we sign off 2012 with an almighty 'cheers!'

Headlining The Box is a new entry to this year's influential DJ Mag Top 100 poll - R3hab. Dirty riffs will continue to be provided by Sidney Samson, fresh from completing a landmark tour of North America. Ministry of Sound resident Michael Woods defects from his usual Saturday spins for your ears only to showcase his big room repertoire that has seen him take the stage at Electric Zoo Festival and Pacha NYC in 2012. And with their huge hit 'Mush Mush' now a bonafide Gallery anthem, we welcome its esteemed creators, Bassjackers, who will be crafting the beats for all out carnage in The Box.

The 103 next door lays down the Christmas carpet for beloved residents Ben Gold, Ali Wilson and Lee Osborne. Providing the all important trance fix, they will be transforming this intimate space with their trademark intense melodies.

Expect the laser-tinged madness for which The Gallery is famed, enhanced by special twists synonymous with all-out festival furore. Adding to the magnitude of this already special occasion, there will be delectable dancers with giveaways galore, plus expert ‘mixologists’ serving cocktails concocted especially for The Gallery palette. Perfect to get the party started!

There's no better way to celebrate this final festive Friday of the year. Please dance responsibly...

We did it! Southwark Council’s planning committee has refused the planning application for the Oakmayne tower block. This means that the scheme cannot proceed without major changes. Ministry of Sound is working towards a new vision for the site that addresses the needs of the Elephant & Castle community whilst protecting the jobs of our 200 employees and the future of our club, record label, events and media businesses.

Lohan Presencer, CEO Ministry of Sound Group, said:

“A huge thank you to the 26,000 plus people who signed the petition. Last night the Planning Committee showed why local democracy matters to this country.”
