House Masters meet Future Stars as the cream of Europe’s house talent take control of the UK’s greatest soundsystem...

Saturday 21st July
Ministry of Sound, 103 Gaunt Street, London
10pm – 7am
Box: Junior Jack & Kid Crème / The Shapeshifters / Franky Rizardo
103: Flashmob / Solo / Anna Wall
Tickets: £18 + booking fee (http://www.ministryofsound.com/club/listings)

This July Defected brings two genuine superstar DJ duos in Junior Jack & Kid Crème and The Shapeshifters – supported by the cream of Europe’s rising talent –  to London’s iconic Ministry of Sound.

Junior Jack & Kid Crème are one of the slickest DJ outfits on the planet. With regular sets at the world’s best clubs, their energetic, driving take on house music makes them perfectly suited to big occasions and are once again exclusive residents for Defected In The House in Ibiza this year, playing five dates throughout the summer and also recently headlining the first ever Pacha Festival in Amsterdam.  This is a rare London appearance from the duo and hearing them push the legendary Box soundsystem to its limits is an experience not to be missed.

The Shapeshifters have been on the very top of their game for a decade. From chart-topping singles and underground club bangers to world tours and sell-out festivals, The Shapeshifters pull some of the biggest crowds in house music with their uplifting, main-room sound. Their last record ‘Only You’ took their production in a deeper, more soulful direction than has been their style of late and shows the versatility of one of the UK’s most established dance acts.

Franky Rizardo is perhaps the most exciting young newcomer to the world of house music production and performance to come out of Holland in the last few years. Tirelessly creative and with a string of acclaimed singles and remixes already under his belt, he offers strong support in The Box.

The 103 is headlined by Flashmob, who burst onto the scene last year with the explosive ‘Brick House’, the debut single for a duo who have – in one way or another –  been involved in the music industry for most of their lives. Their third single ‘Need in Me’ was snapped up by Defected and was promptly made Essential New Tune by Pete Tong, and looks set to one of the biggest records of Ibiza 2012.

Solo is another Defected Records debutant, whose latest record ‘Home Is Where the Hurt Is’ is currently doing damage all over clubland. Anna Wall meanwhile is one of London’s busiest DJs, and a new addition to the Defected roster who’s passion for house music is evident in the eclectic, slick sets she frequently lays down.

Once again, Defected strives to bring you the very best in both established and up-and-coming DJ talent, and brings one of the very finest house line-ups of the summer to London.

The 2012 House Odyssey continues…

Fri 6th July – Dash Berlin
The Dutch maestro’s engaging and interactive performance for ‘Full On Ferry’ NYE, crowned a monumental year which saw Dash accelerate to world domination. Achieving the dizzy heights of No.8 in DJ Mag’s illustrious Top 100, the third highest ranked trance artist! Hence quite fitting, this will be his third visit to SE1. Since that sell-out Gallery show last July, Dash has also skilfully mixed a coveted CD - on Armin’s recent ASOT 550 album. This occasion promises the obligatory arms in the air anthems, plus exclusive uplifting material from Ministry’s forthcoming ‘Trance Nation’ compilation. To unite the whole dance floor in that iconic main room, Dash Berlin equates to a life defining moment in your clubbing career.

Music Is Life  - Album Teaser
Responsible for evoking those hidden emotions, buried deep within the trance inner depths. Sweeping synths and luscious chords, sit back and enjoy.

Dash’s Previous Visit
Causing a desperate dash for those prized tickets, this was amongst the most memorable of 2011. A travesty that it’s been a whole year, but you forgive us right?

New 2012 Residents – Ben Gold & Ali Wilson
Increasing the magnitude of this already special occasion, The Gallery presents their brand new residents for 2012. Starting with Ben Gold, his ‘Apex’ collaboration fast becoming a Gallery favourite – always smashing all four corners of the Box. Finally Ali Wilson, of Tekelec Sessions fame. His previous visit being that crazy Producers Night in September 2011. Nine months has been far too long…

DIRTY DUTCH @ MINISTRY OF SOUND
Saturday July 14th

Dirty Dutch return to London to continue their official residency at Ministry of Sound on Saturday July 14th. Each time the international crew of party starters jet into the capital, an adrenalin fuelled house party vibe ensues beyond the early hours. July’s edition will be no different as label head, Chuckie assembles a lineup fit for clubbing royalty.

Chuckie is a man who is already enjoying a whirlwind summer.  He’s already provided two separate summer club anthems with ‘Electro Dude’ and then ‘Numb3r5’ in addition to smashing festivals around the world and continuing his Ibiza residency. Returning to London where he records his monthly show for BBC Radio 1, Chuckie will be in party mode as he takes over The Box for the entire night alongside UK talent Redlight. The Bristol raised, London based DJ / producer is a versatile performer who shifts between house, bass, electro and beyond with ease. With an arsenal of underground bangers kept deep inside his bag, expect his set to be off the hook once again.

Dirty Dutch regulars Gregori Klosman and GLOWINTHEDARK will be spreading the vibe of the label from the more intimate surroundings of 103. Both artists have a true understanding of the Dirty Dutch crowd and are able to take them on an eclectic and forward thinking journey each and every time they man the decks. The Dirty Dutch take over continues – just make sure you are part of the pack!!

Exclusive!

With Gareth Emery and Kaskade on our weekends line up, it was hard to say no to a night out at Ministry of Sound. Gareth and Lange had a personal meet and greet with their fans in our VIP area and then the doors opened to all. They did not disappoint with brilliant sets shaking the venue. Saturday followed with Kaskade taking over the venue. The VIP area was sold out and the atmosphere was pumping with bottles flowing to all tables.

Refreshing!

We now have magnum bottles of JohnnieWalker black behind the bar! For those mature whisky drinkers who know whatthey want!

Naughty but Nice!

We’ve decided to leave some sweet treats on your tables upon your arrival, see if you spot them and tuck in! VIP (hearts) you.

Ravin’ Review!

“Booked a table in VIP at Ministry of Sound last weekend to celebrate with my girlfriend asit's the best clubbing VIP service in London. Quickly ushered

past hundreds of people outside and upstairs to VIP which has balconies into both rooms so you can enjoy both sound systems with ease. The VIP is a

cocoon of super friendly staff, quality cocktails, comfortable surroundings and warm atmosphere. Our table was on the main room balcony, perfect for a drink/dance combo all night. There simply are no other clubbing VIP rooms as good as this in London.”

Spinnin’ the decks

“ This Friday is defiantly something for the connoisseurs of fine music, of the deep darkand enchanting variety! With tunage from Howells’ ‘Dig Deeper’ label, and his previous visit being November’s B2B EPIC set with Hernan which still ringing in our ears!! Danny excelling with his frivolous blend of tech, prog and disco laced beats, it’s a hard act for Henry Saiz to follow.”

Henry Saiz always brings the loyal fans to our VIP tables and this is no exception. Saturday night is another dose of Roger Sanchez and Prok & Fitch:

“Prok & Fitch have their own label ‘Floorplay’ and their parties have quickly become stuff of late night legend. What started off as a small label showcase night has turned into regular roadblocks and sell outs in Brighton, Dubai and London. The Guardian, Mixmag, IDJ and DJ magazine have all proclaimed Floorplay to be the ‘best night in the South’ and it’s easy to see why – guests have included Dirty Vegas, Chris Lake, Mark Knight... the list just goes on. ”

You do not want to miss out this weekend! Get booking those exclusive VIP tables!
