Michael Woods

Thou shall not talk about trance. Long gone are the days of Michael and his boyhood trance sets instead now a fully grown man with a bag full of tech-house and house music to guide you through the night. Though he struggles with his vodka (we won’t go into too much detail) he definitely knows how to party and keep a room stomping till the early hours of the morning. If 2010 belonged to any dj, it could easily be Michaels after an unstoppable 12 months of drive, determination and success. Working with acts such as Chris Lake & Deadmau5 on remixes and productions doesn’t even touch the sides as he conquered Amnesia, Ibiza with a residency at Cream as well as playing numerous festivals and dates at Ministry of Sound. If you’ve seen him play then you would have heard the screams and endless requests for photos plus a lot more than we don’t think his mum would want us to mention! Already lined up for just a few short than a dozen dates next year we are proud to introduce to you... Michael Woods.

Cosmonauts

Total feeling is essential when being guided into an intergalactic embrace of Italo-disco from Cosmonauts. The dj duos have been part of the club family for the best part of two years and were announced as our official residents last October. After a tidy 2010 which included being featured on Pete Tongs radio show, releasing their track ‘El Toro’ and dj-ing at Glastonbury, 2011 looks set to be a profound few months both production and gig wise. To add to all the above they spent the last 6 months setting the perfect vibes in the 103, with their bi-monthly SpaceStation enterprise, captivating some of the best acts in cosmic disco at present. Guests which have included The Revenge, Pete Herbert and Leftside Wobble have all complimented the guys sound and build up the residency which can only mean that this year will see bigger names and more prolific sets. Dabble in some disco and digest their names as these guys are going to be knocking on your airwaves, you know who they are... Cosmonauts.

Joe and Will Ask?

No-one likes a cliché but unfortunately there are times when you just have to give in and use them, this being one of those moments. Probably two of the nicest people in house music, the down to earth duo are a million miles away from any preconception of a dj and more your lads next door with talent and banter that can keep you laughing for hours on end. Chosen after playing at the club and keeping the 103 packed until 6am, these guys aren’t your average duo in actual fact the opposite because their individual sound is what makes the party as you never quite know what they will pull out the bag next. The Ant & Dec (Joe on the right, Will on the left) of the music industry these guys are going to be blowing up even more this year and will no doubt have long careers ahead of themselves. 2011 will see the club working more and more closely with the East London dynamites as they host their Vikings residency in the 103.
