#SAVEMOSCLUB: PLEASE HELP SAVE MINISTRY OF SOUND FROM THREAT OF CLOSURE

In 2009 we became aware of plans to build a 41-storey residential tower block 10 metres from the front gate of Ministry of Sound. If this building goes ahead and the new residents complain about noise from our club, we could lose our licence and be forced to close.

We fought the application tooth and nail for two years - and finally, in October 2011, Southwark’s planning committee saw sense and rejected it unanimously.

However, the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has called in the application, and on 26th February 2013 he will whether to approve this planning application.

We still have a massive fight on our hands to save Ministry of Sound, and need your help to show Boris why he should #savemosclub.

Friday 1st February 1327 was when Edward III was crowned King. Fitting then that on 1st February 2013, we celebrate DJ royalty with non other than the Kings of The Gallery, Cosmic Gate! December’s sell-out concert at the Hollywood Palladium served to affirm the duo’s superstar status as they followed Above & Beyond in headlining the iconic venue. But CG’s energetic sound is one without equal, possessing the power to transform any space into an engrossing trance haven. Especially where The Box is concerned; with our bespoke sound system and colossal RGB lasers, we can't think of a better place for Cosmic Gate to do what they do best! Providing a unique environment to experience the flagship tracks ‘Wake Your Mind’ and ‘Be Your Sound,’ Cosmic Gate at The Gallery is a clubbing rite of passage - prepare to reach for the stars!

No stranger to putting The Gallery through a strenuous workout, Jochen Miller also joins us to notch proceedings up a gear. With his new track aptly named ‘BASH,’ those CDJs better get ready for a damn good thrashing. And after ‘The Fusion’ single-handedly succeeded in uniting trance lovers all over in 2012, Omnia makes his eagerly anticipated Gallery debut.

With the trance tables tipped perfectly, this is a quintessential Gallery showcase. Enjoy!
