This weekend hosted two brilliant nights. Friday’s Gallery gave us W & W, Rank 1 and Alex M.O.R.P.H and they had the club jumping until the early hours of the morning. Rank 1 held a signing in our Loft Bar for lucky ticket holders before we opened the doors and the music pulled us all in.

Alex M.O.R.P.H closed with a set controlled completely by IPad and had the Box going crazy to every beat.

Saturday night gave us some memories that none of us will forget any time soon. Benny Benassi took to the decks at 2am and had VIP fully booked weeks before the night. Everyone wanted an exclusive table and for the one’s that got it................. ‘Oh, what a night?’

Our VIP’s watched over the mind blowing scene that was the Box, where Benny was playing his 2 and a half hour set. From our balcony every one joined in almost one mass dance.

As if Benny Benassi wasn’t enough to get you going, The Tequila loving Michael Woods played a 2 hour set in our 103 Bar and had the room on their knees through his brilliant set.

Shelter Charity was taking donations and they received a brilliant volume of help so Thanks to all you donators!

Looking forward to AfroJack who will be with us on 20th August so get booking now!

20:20 World Tour hits Summaland TONIGHT!

We've definitely got that Friday feeling - because tonight Ministry of Sound will be hosting the main stage at Summaland 2011! Near Alicante in Spain, the setting is the gorgeous Arenal Beach, which is famed for its perfect golden sand and crystal clear blue water. The event attracts clubbers from all over Europe, and this year our 20:20 World Tour has brought along one of house music biggest talents - the mighty Afrojack!

With a peerless reputation as a producer, his signature style has seen him work with and remix some of the world's biggest artists (including David Guetta, Diplo, Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga), earn support from the music A-list including the likes of Pete Tong, Fedde le Grand and Josh Wink, win a Grammy award for his remix of Madonna's 'Revolver' and rock the world’s biggest floors including Ministry of Sound, Pacha Ibiza, Miami Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival in LA.

Also on the bill are rising stars Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, who have rapidly made their mark on the scene over the past few years. Their tracks can be found on countless compilations & mix CDs and in the record boxes of top jocks like David Guetta, Erick Morillo, Paul Van Dyk, Bob Sinclar, TV Rock, DubFire, Dirty South....and of course Tiesto, who has been hammering their work on his Clublife radio show and in his countless gigs worldwide.

As a team, they've played at clubs & events including ID&T Tomorrowland (Belgium), CityParade (Belgium), Amsterdam Dance Event (Holland), Circoloco (Belgium), Space (Ibiza) and many, many more. They don’t just bring a plain old DJ set but a unique live performance. By combining Dimitri’s beats with Mike’s voice, they found their own unique style, entertaining the crowd with CDs, decks, fx and of course…the mic! Their live sets range from “hands in the air” peak-time dancefloor-destroying electro beats to a deeper minimal sound and uplifting techy vibes. The brothers are also known for an energetic and fun performance. “We try to make our set a great clubbing experience for everyone, we bring a cocktail of electro and tech-house on the rocks, with a touch of techno and minimal... shaken not stirred. We definitely don’t like to be branded with a style, the direction we take our set all depends on the crowd, but we only play music that gets under our skin... and that has always worked so far!”

Solid back-up comes in the form of two our our most popular Ministry of Sound World Tour resident DJs, Shane Kehoe and Paul Deighton. These guys tour the world for us blowing away every dancefloor they spin at, and you can expect a veritable smorgasbord of house and techno.

Think big - think Ministry of Sound!

J Majik and Wickaman teamed up with Josh Cole, an award winning stills photographer, to bring you their new video for summer anthem 'In Pieces', which features rising star Dee Freer.

Having begun his career as a hip-hop photographer, Josh now shoots advertising and fashion and is well known for his hard-hitting reportage work with subcultures and subjects including street gangs, gypsies, breakdancers and graffiti artists from across the globe. For the past 6 years, Josh has been shooting a personal project - 'Physical Graffiti' - about street dancers from around the world. As an extension of this project, Josh decided to return to Rwanda to shoot a film about the dancers there and in neighbouring Burundi.

Josh first visited Rwanda to do a story for The Independent on his old friend Dicken Marshall, who went to Rwanda to start a 'fair trade' recording studio and record label, http://www.rafikirecords.com. Dicken then acted as producer on this film and introduced Josh to the best dancers in the region. The video to 'In Pieces' was shot in the most deprived and poorest parts of the country's capitals, Kigali and Bujumbura. The idea of the film is to show the powerful energy that comes from personal hardship, which is a central theme of his work.
