Example has had one hell of a year...as THE breakthrough act of 2010, he smashed up the charts with singles including Kickstarts, Last Ones Standing, Won't Go Quietly and Two Lives, his album Won't Go Quietly went gold, he ripped up the festival circuit, sold over 17,000 tickets for his 14 date UK headline tour and toured with dance legends Faithless.
But he quite literally never stops - he's been beavering away in the studio on material for his new album (which we can tell you now is sounding amazing!), and he recently popped in to BBC Midlands' 'The Beat' for an interview and acoustic performance. Watch the full video below to hear the man himself talk about performing live, his singing, forthcoming material, plans for 2011, why he loves being busy and working with the likes of Faithless, Nero, Rob Swire, Skream and songwriting legend Guy Chambers.
He also performs acoustic versions of Two Lives, Kickstarts and Last Ones Standing alongside two of his band members, Andy Sheldrake and David Stewart. This is Example as you've never seen him before...
Given his enormous talent, it's not surprise that tickets for his February/March 2011 UK Tour are absolutely flying - 6 of the 19 dates are already SOLD OUT so get your tickets now from www.trythisforexample.com and www.gigsandtours.com.
