Can I buy tickets on the door or online?
You can purchase tickets online, often saving you a bit of money if you book in advance! Book your tickets online here.
Of course, you can also purchase your tickets on the door. If you want to skip the queues we recommend you arrive early!
Please note: Student tickets are not currently available to purchase online.
Can I eat and smoke at the club?
A covered outdoor smoking courtyard is provided with seating, and a food concession can be found outside in the courtyard should you wish to refuel.
Can I exchange/refund my tickets?
We regret tickets cannot be refunded after purchase, as stated in our Terms & Conditions. We may however be able to exchange your tickets for another night at the club.
If you would like to exchange your tickets for another night please contact us referencing your order number and the night you would like to attend.
Do you have a dress code?
We don’t require a dress code as such, we only ask that you don’t wear suits or tracksuits. Jeans, t-shirts and trainers are all fine.
Do you have deals for students?
Sure, if you can show a valid student card we'll get you in for a tenner!
Currently student tickets can only be purchased on the door. Please ensure you bring your valid student ID. This must display the name of your University along with your name, picture and expiry date.
How do I get to the club?

Train/bus/taxi
The club is situated behind the University exit of Elephant & Castle tube station. This can be reached on the Northern and Bakerloo lines. We can also be reached by National Rail. Turn left out the station and take the second left, Gaunt Street. You can’t miss us!
If you’re travelling by bus we can be reached by many routes. Please take a look at tfl.gov.uk for further details.
If you’re arriving by taxi ask the driver for Ministry of Sound, Gaunt Street, Elephant & Castle.
Driving here
There are a very limited number of spaces close to the club, however there is a private car park on Newington Causeway.
Getting home
Elephant & Castle underground station opens around 5:30am on Saturday mornings and around 7am on Sunday mornings. Take a look at tfl.gov.uk for full service updates.
Buses run throughout the night and can be picked up from several stops near to the club. Please take a look at tfl.gov.uk for further details.
When taking a taxi home it’s important to stay safe. ACS Cars are on site providing licensed and legal cabs on our behalf, all fully insured with capped reasonable fares.
I lost an item while at the club
If you lose a personal item inside the club please contact a member of staff who will be able to assist you. If you’re reading this from home having already lost an item in the club please give us a call on 0870 060 0010 or send us an email.
Is there a cash machine at the club?
Yes, you'll find it to your right after you pass the clockroom. We also accept payment by card at the ticket office and our bars.

To arrange VIP entry to the club, please fill out our VIP form including your phone number. We’ll give you a call to plan your visit.
The legal stuff
ID
Ministry of Sound is strictly an 18+ venue. There will be no exceptions. If you look under 21 we may ask for your ID. Driver’s licence and passports will be accepted.
Upon entering the club
There may be promotional and/or commercial photography, video and/or audio recording of the club, the DJ's and customers. By entering the club, you consent to the filming and recording of your likeness for use by Ministry of Sound. Such consent includes use by Ministry of Sound for any and all purposes in all media.
What are the set times for DJs?
For approximate set times, please call us on 0870 060 0010. Please note: We are unable to confirm set times until the day of the event.
What time do you open/close?
We’re open Fridays 10:30pm - 6:30am (last entry 4:30am) and Saturdays 11pm - 7am (last entry 4:30am).
Where can I leave my jacket/bag?
The cloakroom can be found on the way in to the club, where upon paying a small fee you’ll receive a ticket. Please note the cloakroom accepts cash only, no cards! If you lose your ticket you’ll have to wait until the end of the night to collect your jacket - No exceptions!
