After the inaugural installation of ‘Dolby Atmos Sound’ at The Gallery achieved widespread acclaim, we welcome favourite Mat Zo to the Dolby decks for his first Friday night appearance in five years.
Hence increasing the magnitude of an already momentous occasion, half a decade of hurt is ended with an eagerly anticipated homecoming - to showcase an eclectic range of electronic music on this ground breaking bespoke technology.
A massive sixty speakers augmenting Ministry of Sound’s current award winning set up will facilitate twenty two audio channels - to be enhanced by a bespoke lighting environment. Hence fans can expect an unparalleled clubbing experience, not only hearing the music in unprecedented clarity - but as part of complex soundscapes strategically placed and moved through the room.
So following in the hallowed footsteps of Sub Focus, Infected Mushroom and DJ Harvey amongst others in embracing the ‘Atmos’ technology, The Gallery and Mat Zo is excellence in the art of Dolby sound.
But it’s more than longevity that makes The Gallery stand tall. Famed for blooding new talent, it gave none other than Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto amongst others their first ever London gigs. Plus not forgetting an esteemed list of residents including Judge Jules, Sister Bliss, Tall Paul, Sander Van Doorn and Markus Schulz. Mixmag’s ‘London Club Of The Year’ on three occasions and heralded for their dedicated fan base, a night down The Gallery provides dance floor memories to last a lifetime.
