Audio Rehab are back to fill their coveted residency at Ministry of Sound, and this time round they’re bringing house heavyweight Low Steppa to headline the final show of 2015.
Low Steppa has long been releasing some of the finest bass music around. Alongside managing his own imprint, Simma Black Records, he has dropped a number of top productions, including his bootleg of Route 94’s “My Love” released back in 2013, and his rework of Hardrive’s “Deep Inside”. Along the way, he has garnered support from names such as Radio 1’s MistaJam, Target, Cameo, B Traits, Pete Tong, Gorgon City and Shadow Child, to name but a few. Make sure you take time out to check out his resident show on Rinse FM every third Friday of the month from 1-3am
Sam Young, aka Vanilla Ace, has been on the scene since 2012. His distinctive, robust sound is inspired by House, Disco, New Jack Swing and everything in between, and earned him support from the likes of The Magician, Soulclap and Seth Troxler. In addition to this, he has released tracks on esteemed labels like Suara, Nurvous, Bunny Tiger and LouLou, and released a Musicology EP on Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings. Get down to the club and see him inject some real soul and emotion into the night’s proceedings for yourself:
It wouldn’t be Audio Rehab without Mark Radford making an appearance. Mark’s history stretches back to the early days of acid house, gaining musical stimuli from DJs like Randall, Grooverider and Jumping Jack Frost. Observing a willingness to experiment and push new boundaries, Mark started up his own label, the notorious Audio Rehab, and has carried the sentiment with him throughout his work. Aside from this, he is also a successful DJ and producer in his own right, and presents a primetime show on Rinse FM.
Heavily influenced by the UKG scene that shadowed his upbringing, Lance Morgan harnessed an ability to deliver hard-edge, bass infused tracks from an early age. From underground warehouses in London to Ministry’s infamous stage, Lance’s rise to prominence has been lightning-fast and earned him regular guest slots on Rinse FM and Kiss. He is also the mastermind behind the ever popular brand, Frequency, showcasing acts such as Dirty Channels, Matt Fear and Kreature.
Rounding off the bill, we have Audio Rehab regulars, AndMe & Bastian, who are rapidly making a name for themselves thanks to their hard-hitting, high energy sound. Having been championed by Mark Radford from an early stage, these guys are set for big things. Taking over 103, we have Maximono, Tim Baresko, Nightshift, Kane Law and Nathan Dalton, so make sure you get down to the club early as this is a guaranteed roadblock event.
