Following on from October’s road-block affair, Together return to SE1 with one of the finest DJs to come out of Canada: A-Trak.
Having won the DMC DJ World Championships at age 15 (the youngest ever contestant to do so), A-Trak was already a legend before he went on tour with Kanye West back in 2004. Now, with his own record label, Fools Gold, he has a foot in both the mainstream and underground worlds of hip hop and electronic. Let’s not forget the label's legendary ‘Day Off’ series, which have helped launched the careers of many. Currently focusing on more solo recordings, A-Trak continues to write new chapters in his storied career, and we cannot be more excited to welcome him to the club for the very first time:
Joining A-Trak will be T.Williams. With productions such as "Heartbeat" played extensively worldwide and reaching number two as iTunes best dance track of the year, it was in 2011 that the world sat up and paid attention to T-Williams. Alongside solo works on his own Deep Teknologi imprint, Local Action and Pattern and remixes for Maya Jane Coles, Ben Westbeech and Skream, he quickly built a reputation as one of best DJs and producers around. Check out this set he dropped for Boiler Room, and you’ll quickly see what all the hype is about:
Also for the very first time, we welcome Jauz. Sam Vogel, aka Jauz (pronounced "jaws"), is a music producer and DJ on the rise thanks to popular remixes of A$AP Mob's “Hella Hoes" and Childish Gambino's "3005." At just 21 years old, Jauz is gaining more and more attention for his creative, genre-blending sound. His philosophy, ‘suck at it until you don’t’, pretty much says it all. Fresh from his summer tour in the states, Jauz is sure to set The Box off:
The main stage will also be blessed with a very special guest that is yet to be announced, while over in 103 we have garage royalty, Oxide & Neutrino, Grades, and many more, so prep yourself for some serious dancing as Together bring the best Bass and House DJs to Elephant and Castle.
