To celebrate Together's hugely successful summer run on the island, we now look forward to their next party at Ministry of Sound on Saturday 10th October. Joining us will be a stellar line up of Together favourites and fresh new talent, sure to make this one of the most exciting events in the capital this autumn...
Heading up the bill is Together resident and BBC Radio 1 key player MistaJam. Jam is regarded as one of the most influential tastemakers in the UK right now. As well as being a highly regarded broadcaster, his skills as a DJ are second to none. Managing to transition seamlessly from house to garage and drum and bass, if there was ever a DJ who encapsulates what Together is about musically, this is the man!
MistaJam will be joined by Zinc, a true UK dance music legend after over twenty years in the scene. Originally famed for his Drum and Bass productions, which include the iconic remix of Fugee's “Ready or Not”, he now tends to focus on a house sound inspired by the sounds of UK Funky and Garage. Most recently he has offered up an excellent remix of Shadow Child's “23” and original tracks like, “Show Me”:
Rinse favourite Roska has risen to success after securing a weekly radio show in 2009 and releasing original music on the station's imprint. Originating from a background of Grime and UK Funky, Roska's productions now focus on the more bass heavy end of the house spectrum. This year has seen him release two EPs, “Frst & Frmst” and “This May Take a While” on his very own Kicks and Snares label. The London local has delivered an exclusive mix for Together ahead of his appearance on 10th October, check it out here:
Over the past few years Brighton duo Kry Wolf have made a name for themselves as one of the most popular names in the UK underground. With releases like “Nightmode” and “DNA”, the duo have gained support from the likes of A-Trak, Mosca and Sub Focus. Since 2012, they have also ran label Food Music with Shadow Child, which has released highly successful tracks, and are on course to be one of the labels to be reckoned with:
Our penultimate guest over in The Box will be Kayper, who over the past decade has developed a reputation as an experienced and talented DJ, playing festivals and events all over the world. She now returns to her hometown of London to play our Together show on very familiar territory. In recent years, Kayper has also proved herself as an accomplished producer. Known for a distinctive House sound with influences from R&B, she has had releases on labels like Eton Messy and Spinnin' Records:
Our very special guests for this event will be none other than Jack Beats. After almost seven years on the scene and numerous appearances at our night in Ibiza, this duo is a firm Together favourite. With the release of a Fabric Live mix compilation in 2014 and a huge string of festival dates in the US and Australia this year including an appearance at EDC Festival in Vegas, it is clear that they still maintain their worldwide appeal.
Over in 103 we have a huge array of talent, coming from New York Transit Authority, Klose One, Double Cream and Beth Yen. Make sure you don't miss your chance to join us at this very special party, bringing a little bit of the Balearics to London.
